My 3 day trip to Stanley was an amazing experience, making contact with locals, business people and campers.
I found the people of Stanley to be welcoming and friendly. They willingly engaged with me as we conversed about many issues that where of most concern to them.
One gentlemen had recently suffered the loss of a close family member, he was willing to share this with me and I was able to point him to some techniques that could help him with his loss. This gave me a good opportunity to share some insightful information contained in the book Live More Happy by Dr Darren Morton which formed part of the gift pack handed out to many of the locals and business owners.
When I returned home I became aware of the level of impact and appreciation my visit had on the community as LifeHealth Reboot received a large donation from one of those contacts.
Our plan is to revisit in the near future seeking feedback and also supply them with additional resources. This will allow us to build on these relationships and hopefully we will become great friends.
